Imagine this. A starry sky, endless lights, entwined around long white poles, flowers of pink and purple, bright smiles, men in dapper suits, women in bedazzled dresses. That my friend is what a wedding looks like through the eyes of a photographer. If this is the description, imagine how good the photos would be. Don’t think twice before hiring a wedding photographer, you absolutely need one for Memories Successfully Captured.
Cue A Meet-cute
Let me tell you about the time I was a wedding photographer in the twin cities. It was for a couple, Adam and Lilly. Adam and Lily have the cutest story on how they met. They met each other on a Black Friday. The store they were at was crazy pack and they both happened to reach for the same rose-gold wall clock. Adam was a gentleman and let Lily have it.
She wanted to repay the favor and asked if he would like to go for coffee. On their coffee date, they decided that they would keep the clock on alternate months. I know it sounds like a dumb idea but the truth is they both want an excuse to see each other. Months passed and the wall-clock passed here and there until it finally landed in an unknown land. Yes, you guessed it. They moved in together and decided to spend the rest of their lives together. Adorable, right?
This is a story that happened a year ago and I still remember it like it happened yesterday. This is the kind of dedication a wedding photographer brings to your wedding.
Investing In Your Wedding
Let me break it to you, weddings aren’t cheap folks. They cost an arm and leg and sometimes you don’t get the value of the money you pay for.
Everyone dressed for weddings. Why? They want to photographed, that’s why. There is nothing sad and the happiest day of your life getting ruin, just because someone didn’t know your picture angles.
As a bride, you deserve to be the center of attention in the room and if any photographer fails to capture that then they really shouldn’t be a wedding photographer.
Photographers That Know Their Work
One thing that I admire in photographers, especially Minnesota wedding photographers, is the ability to make use of the location the wedding held. Drones and wide-angle shots are all the rage these days. A photographer should have all the necessary equipment to make a shoot successful. Not only that, but a photographer should know how to communicate with their clients and all the guests so that all the photos are flattering and memorable.
It’s true, two people make a marriage but a wedding takes a whole village! Deciding to get marry the most important step, once you figure that out, everything else will fall into place.
Good luck to all the couples embarking on the beautiful journey of marriage!
