About Hampta Pass Trek

Hampta Pass Trek is one of the most iconic trips on the 200+ line which is defined in Himachal Pradesh. Hampta Pass Trek is clearly on the side that is easier when compared to his colleagues. So, while the feeling of the adrenaline pump and the jaw clenching it is not something that will experience experienced trekkers, it is clearly a great way for beginners to enter trekking mode.

Of course, this is not to say that experienced trekkers will not enjoy the journey – a stretch of diversity of blankets in view will be worth the effort – from the glacial valley to fertile green grasslands – travel has everything.

Duration and location

Hampta Pass Trek is a 5-6 day trip starting from Manali at Himachal Pradesh. This beautiful track is surrounded by stunning waterfalls, flowers and maple forests. This is best suited for beginners because it has enough adventurous feelings attached to it. So, Hampta Pass itself connects the “deity valley” called Manali to “middleland” called Spiti Valley.

On the one hand, this is surrounded by meadows and splendor while the other side is a quiet repetition of spiti. Usually, people cross from Hampta Pass and head to Lake Chandratal. On the last day, if the road is open, then you will also get the chance to see the amazing Chandratal lake.

You don’t need to worry too much about acclimatization for Hampta Pass Trek. However, because you will reach 14,000 feet, it is always recommended to rest and go easy to enjoy the beauty of this trip.

Best time to do hampta pass tracks

This track runs from June to September, but the best season to go for Hampta Pass Treks from mid-June to September forbid time of season. In early June, it might happen that the road to Lake Chandratal might not be open.

Visiting a crescent-shaped lake, glowing sky on the surface is an unforgettable experience and should not be missed. If not, you can do a hampta pass track during this period.

Basic camp location

Hampta Pass Trek starts from Jobra which is about 30 km from Manali. A large number of trekkers came on this beautiful trip to enjoy nature.

Weather in Hampta Pass

Summer or rainy season is the most preferred time for travel, you will get the Himalayan tales. During the beginning of the season, hopefully you will experience snow around the area.

Snow starts melting around July, however, you should expect rain on the side of Manali from mid-July. The spi valley does not experience the rainy season as we know and you will experience bright sunlight (and rainbow metaphoris, unicorn, butterflies) in this period!

After staying in the hill & after traveling widely in beautiful places (including cooler winter months). I am a strong believer that the weather is the solution to make people happy.

When hot (weather ala Delhi) and moist (like weather in Mumbai), the natural tendency of the body (and soul?) Must be irritated. Change the scenery, replace the weather, and you will see everyone happy & satisfied with life! What do you think? Comment below!
